MOON / AGORA

Dues pel·lícules distants temporalment, però molt més properes del que sembla...

Moon és el debut cinematogràfic de Duncan Jones, fill de David Bowie i guardonat amb el premi al millor film al Festival de Cinema Fantàstic de Sitges d'enguany. No us diré de que tracta perquè m'agradaria que la anessiu a veure-la. Només us destacaré l'increible paper del protagonista Sam Rockwell, fent clons del seu paper. Un relat angoixant i una atmòsfera ben aconseguida...

Àgora és una pel·lícula històrica. Perquè t'agradi t'ha d'agradar la història... si és així us agradarà molt. Si espereu una pel·lícula amb molts efectes especials i grandiloqüència no hi aneu al cine. Amenabar tira molt poc dels efectes per ordinador i recrea "a la antigua usanza" Alexandria amb una complex entremat de maquetes i amb la utilització de molts extres.
Per últim, m'agradaria destacar que el director es fixès en una dona tan gran com oblidada, per a centrar la història de l'Alexandria dels primers cristians i la dura convivència entre religions...

Si hi ha una cosa que no ha canviat entre aquest temps i el nostre és que els humans continuem sent uns éssers destructius i fanàtics. Res ha canviat en gairebé dos mil·lenis.
